The main reason for the cruise was both grandparents were born in Canada, so I was interested in the Halifax and Quebec area. We also was hoping to the leaves changing in New England but we were to early. We have travel on the Dawn before and like the size of the ship. We did the BTB and most of dining was done in the specialty restaurants. The food on the whole ship was excellent. The entertainment for the most part was very good. If I hear the cruise director say one more time "yell out if you are having a good time" I am going to scream. The service was outstanding and we would sail the Ship again. We did not do any the ships excursion was they are to expensive and we can get a better deal by going local. The ship was easy to be get to as we flew into Boston from Virginia.

Family Oceanview Picture Window

Cabin O1

We normally go with a balcony but not knowing what the weather would be like in October we went with the oceanview window. The weather was prefect for all but two days, who would have known.

Port Reviews

Halifax

We used Halifax Tour Guys. The tour was Halifax/Peggy's Cove, excellent.

Sydney (Nova Scotia)

We tried to find the best of Sydney, but there isn't any.
