I am not a first time cruiser. My husband and I go yearly and sometimes multiple times during the year. This was our first Carnival cruise. I was traveling with a group of 34 adults for a fun filled cruise. There were approximately 22 first time cruisers with our group. The majority of the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Guys Burger Bar was amazing and the Blue Iguana Mexican Café and Bar was everything. Absolutely fantastic. My biggest issue is that I do not smoke and nor does my husband as we both have Asthma and there was not many places on this ship that would allow us to sit and not have to smell cigarette smoke. We could not even sit at the coffee shop and have coffee. The night club was out, we walked in and had to immediately turn around as there was smokers everywhere. I understand smoking in the casino and on a specific deck as most other ships, but I have never been on a ship that allows smoking in the lounges, bars, clubs as well as the decks. Pretty much everywhere but the rooms. I realized that this is an older ship so I wasn't expecting all the bell and whistles that goes with the newer ships, but I was looking forward to having a relaxing time and enjoying the nightlife and that was not the case as they have no limits on smoking.

Cabin Review

Cabin Upper

The cabin was fine. The window was very dirty though so looking out was a waste of time.
