The Douro has always been a place we wanted to see. The scenery did not disappoint. It was magical. The staff were very knowledgeable and always helpful. Mealtimes were unforgettable. The variety and quality of each meal on board showed how much thought and pre planning had been put in by the chef and his staff.

Our three couriers on board always had time to listen and were always available for a chat or any additional information with alternative suggestions for on or offboard activities.

The layout of the lounge was a little awkward with the large bar in the centre meaning that the staff were only visible to half the passengers in the room while infomation and talks were being given. However staff did their utmost to overcome this. Read more
