Recommendation from family & friends. The Eclipse was a really great vessel with all its Splendour, very happy with cabin and balcony, but could do with more draw space. The restaurants were excellent with good choice on menu, Restaurant Staff were especially helpful and attentative with a special mention to Jesus, Felix and Jan, who gave us excellent service each night, we all shared a lot of humour between them too!!

Excellent entertainment in the theatre each evening, plus drinks served to your seats.

Sun decks were well equipped with sunbeds (but too close for comfort at times). Choice of bars, lounge areas and excellent Coffee Shop with choice of cakes. Excursions were well organised, (although very disappointed with visit to Rome, with weather causing floods prevented us getting off coach, apart from 45 mins at the Vatican, when rain had eased off and allowed a short look around and to take few photo,s.). All members of staff were all very friendly and helpful, and not forgetting The Captain himself who made an appearance around the Ship and will always remember his voice each morning, whereby he always finished with the words "Life is Beautiful" - and he was there to shake hands with all the guests when we disembarked the Ship. A very enjoyable cruise that I would recommend to anyone taking their first cruise, I'm sure I will be taking another cruise on Eclipse before too long.
