We chose this ship because it was rather new and had unique features. There is not enough pools for the amount of people on board. The hallways are extremely narrow, traveling with my mother who had a scooter she could not pass when they were cleaning carts in the hallway. We have never had this on any other cruise line. We also chose this cruise because of the ultimate beverage package that was offered for free. Not once did we have a bartender walk up to us and ask if we would like a drink, we always had to go to the bar and ask for one ourselves. Never saw any servers around the pool deck asking anyone if they wanted any drinks. The Ultimate Beverage Package which states drinks under $15 are included, I guess I missed the part that water isn't considered a beverage you had to pay for bottled water. Once again I have been on other cruise lines and the beverage packages purchased always included bottle water as well as fresh squeezed orange juice. The service at all three of the main dining rooms was VERY SLOW and the wait staff was not friendly at all. You only had one server per table unlike other cruise lines that have 2 per table. The food was blah and usually not very hot. The crew did not interact with the passengers that I saw unless you were participating in an organized activity. I am use to having the crew when they walk by acknowledge you but most walked right by you without saying anything not even hello. Would have liked to have found a place on the ship that have a place to hang out where it was quiet and could have conversation after dinner. Every lounge always had music or an activity going on. You can smell the cigarette smoke on almost 3 floors due to the open middle of the ship sometimes it was very strong. Would have liked to have seen more movies played on the outside screens during the day and or evening. The new private island in Belize is beautiful however you cannot get food on their own island unless you want to pay for it which makes no sense and no other cruise line charges you for food on their private islands. First and Last NCL cruise for me. VK

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M2

Our cabin was very nice loved the bathroom especially the shower. Our cabin as well as others were still being cleaned daily well into the evening not early as other cruise lines. Our cabin was the highlight of the cruise.
