We chose the cruise because we love NCL and had been on the Getaway and loved the boardwalk with the restaurants and bars that opened on it.

The service was great on this ship and the ship was beautiful. Why I did not rate it higher is that we like to find quiet places like the Martini Bar and Champagne Bar on other NCL ships to have a nice drink and have some quiet discussion. The only bar that came closest was the Prime Meridian where the bartender was probably the best we have ever had.

we did not go on any shore excursions, so can not tell you about those. We were a little disappointed in Harvest Cay, as this was our first time there, as they did not have their bar on shore or serve lunch as on the other out island. But, it was very beautiful and well done. Overall the ship seemed to us to be very noisy, and that is not always relaxing. We will certainly go back on NCL, but probably not on the Escape again, it just was not our ship.

Harvest Caye

It was much more commercialized than the other out island that NCL has.
