It was advertised as President's cruise so we hoped there would be small gifts provided and great excursions and entertainment. These hopes were realized but the quality of the food in the main dining room was substandard. It was dry and not very flavorful. The wait staff was trying their hardest to please, and succeeded in that area, but the food itself was unappealing. On previous cruises, the food was very good, so I don't understand what has caused this decline. It was very disappointing. One night we took advantage of the Chef's Table and that was superb!!! The entire staff in every area of the ship was pleasant and helpful. The choice of shore excursions was varied and satisfying. Embarkation was swift and uneventful....that is always a good thing! For the first time we took advantage of RCCL's Air to Sea program and were very pleased. The ship itself was clean and there were many venues to explore.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Cabin was roomy and view was wonderful. Looking out over the back of the ship was amazing!

Port Reviews

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

The opportunity to see and walk through these ancient hillside villages was amazing! I never even knew this region of Italy existed! The included boat ride to other villages was interesting but way too crowded to really see out the windows and enjoy the terrain. I was glad when we actually got off and had an opportunity to explore a village on our own. The stop at a supposed winery was disappointing. It was just a wine shop that was trying to sell us something.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We stayed on the ship since we have been to Rome before.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

We stayed on board to enjoy the ship.
