Chose this cruise mostly for the itinerary and that we had a good experience with Norwegian previously.
The pluses were: Good (not excellent) food and a variety of restaurants and menus to choose from. Cagney's was by far the best restaurant and if we do the upgraded dining package again, I would dine there more than once. The freestyle concept is perfect for us. Getting on and off the ship went smoothly and the transportation to from the ship/airport was well organized. Our cabin steward (Samuel) was excellent and very attentive and responsive. Entertainment was excellent. We had a balcony stateroom and it was roomy and comfortable.
On the negative side: The ultimate beverage package should include ALL beverages. Come on, bottled water is extra? And sometimes the bar service was a little slow. Also, other cruise lines include the fancy coffees (ie. cappuccino) in the plan.
Very nice stateroom. Comfy bed, larger than expected bathroom. Plenty of room for clothing and personal things. Under bed storage of luggage a big plus.
Our cabin steward was Samuel. He was very good, friendly and helpful.
Spent 3 days in Copenhage and toured the city using Rick Steve's book and the hop on hop off bus.
Did our own walking tour using Rick Steve's book as a guide. Don't miss the former KGB HQ building and the basement prison.
Did our own walking tour using Rick Steve's book. Note that you have to buy a bus ride into town as the larger ships must port at a different dock than the smaller ones.
