We chose this cruise because we wanted to snorkel in the beautiful Caribbean again, especially the US Virgin Islands. Unfortunately due to Hurricane Irma our itinerary was changed eliminating the islands we most wanted to visit. That being said, the Captain kept us all safe and far from the storm which ultimately was a good thing. Our biggest disappointment was the element of elitism that seemed to be driven by the cruise line. Although we chose a veranda (concierge class) cabin, we found because we were not previous Celebrity cruisers (although we've done 10 cruises on other ships) and we didn't upgrade to Blu class or suite class we could not even go up to the Sky lounge anytime in late afternoon to enjoy cocktails. That lounge has the most panoramic view but only designated higher class cruisers were allowed in at that time. We were actually asked to leave. Also there were 2 pool areas. One was very crowded everyday; the other behind a lovely glassed in area was for elite cruisers only. We also thought the additional upgraded dining options were unusually high priced - an extra $45 pp. On Holland America we have never paid more than $25 pp extra. We booked the classic drink package which we thought would afford us the ability to purchase $9 cocktails free however every drink we ordered cost more - even a beer. We were also shocked there seemed to be a shortage of waiters in all the bars. Most of the time we had to order our drinks at the bar. Internet costs were a total rip off. The ship itself was a bit dated but well kept. Most of staff was friendly and attentive. Veranda cabin was small but efficient. Nightly entertainment was very good.
