This was our first cruise on Royal Caribbean, and certainly will not be the last. Brilliance of the Seas is a smaller ship then the rest, but quite comfortable. We were on the 3rd deck of the ship. We thought this deck would be noisy and cramped. We were wrong! We spent 12 glorious days on this ship, the food was wonderful and plentiful. Windjammer is located on the 11 deck with just about everything or anything one desires.

We took all our excursions on Royal Caribbean. Each one was well organized, We had excursions in Villefrench, Pisa,Rome,Amalfi Coast,Ravenna,Venice and Montengro. I must say, every one had what we expected and the guides were polite and knowledgeable.

The service from the personnel on the ship were fantastic, they treated everyone like they were family. The only blemish I have with the cruise is smoking is permitted in the casino. As a non smoker, I found staying in the casino, even for a few minutes unpleasant.

Cabin N

Our cabin on the 3rd deck was to my surprise very quiet, and comfortable. Our room attendant whose name was Wayne, was very professional and willing to make your stay on the ship one to remember. 5 stars for the service on that ship.

Port Reviews

Salerno

We took the tour with ItalyTours.EU We enjoyed the excursion to Pompeii and the detail our guide took to make us see how destructive the eruption was. ItalyTours.EU is a very professional company for touring, and I would highly recommend them.

Ravenna (Bologna)

Royal Caribbean had a excursion named San Marino, World's oldest Republic. We witnessed the 3 medieval towers, sitting atop mountain peaks, Basililica of San Marino. Had our passport stamped. We had 2 hours of free time to explore ourselves. Wonderful time.
