We arrived at the port around noon, the whole procedure to get on the ship/ferry was easy, quick, painless. We were having our first drink at the best bar (Boleros) by 1pm.

We were due to leave at 4pm but there were conflicting stories as to why we didn't set sail until just after 10pm, it was dark, late and we didn't see the going of the ship which was disappointing, we didn't even get an announcement to say what time we were going, we only found out in asking another passenger who had heard it off another passenger! The first night we were woken with movement, not much but enough to wake us and make us feel a little bit disorientated, I think if we had been sailing for a while then it wouldn't of felt so strange but all day we were looking at the port and then we were moving and didn't really get our sea legs.

The trip was rearranged, we did it all in reverse so the fist day was spent at sea, it was fine, the weather was cloudy and changeable so we didn't really know what to do. the pool is so small and jammed with people, it was standing room only and looked less than appealing. The bar staff around the pool were the least friendly of all we encountered so we didn't really fancy being apart of that. We looked around the ship although it really felt more like a ferry, I hated the green carpets on the decks, it felt old, cheap and in need of a complete refurb, although it had some sort of a referb in 2016 apparently, I would of hated to of seen what it looked like before. We went to the top deck and relaxed for a couple hours before the wind picked up and the black clouds rolled in so then we retreated to the Boleros bar, this was lovely, the staff here were fantastic all day and night, I will miss them. I'm sure I will get the spellings incorrect but it was Cesar, pronounced sessarr and Sid, those guys were really great, there was another guy too, he was also very sweet. we really enjoyed the nights in this bar, one night they had karaoke and we all sighed but it turned out to be so fun to watch, some of the singers were amazing! Some weren't so good but funny as, it was a great night, they had good entertainment here for the most part, we didn't go anywhere else so not sure if they had proper shows.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Small, dated, in need of redecoration to lighten it up, would look better if it were brighter. Bed was comfy, enough space for a few items of clothes etc, bathroom small but worked fine. Window was dirty so couldn't really see out of it.
