We selected this cruise in order to be with friends and not particularly for a visit to Mexico. But, the Mexico stops were better than all of us expected. In every port the guides were superb. Even the driver who took us back to the airport was a "hoot."

The entertainment was the best ever and this was our 15th cruise. Food service was great and the food items, although limited some nights, were all tasty and presented wonderfully. In June we were on NCL for an Iceland cruise which was also nice but Princess has NCL beat hands down as it relates to overall efficiency. One minor complaint regarding the Horizon cafeteria, there are no spoons in the table settings. I find a spoon a necessity for every meal whether it's for stirring coffee, eating cereal, scooping yogurt, or scooping up peas. It seemed silly and time wasting to always ask a waiter to bring a spoon. But, that's a minor issue.

Clean, comfortable, great bed and bedding. Roomy bathroom. A little dated. Needs a rehab pretty soon.
