Unfortunately this cruise is mainly older passengers (though I did fit right in there!). I would NOT recommend this cruise for honeymooners or younger clientele. The food was good. The service was average, though there were some phenomenal bartenders and servers. The entertainment on this cruise (with the exception of one comedian) was horrendous! Not exaggerating here. The shows were high school level or below. Some game nights were just ridiculous (ex: Game taking place in the Mardi Gras lounge one night consisted of toilet paper on a pole. How fast could you unroll the TP using just one hand. Next challenge was Solo cup Flip-Cup game followed by a pyramid of Solo cups being knocked down by flinging rubber bands at the pyramid. Fastest contestant won a Norwegian Cruise line pen--which were available any day in your room or anywhere around the ship--or a deck of cards).

The benefit to this particular ship is that it is convenient for those wanting to explore the islands and not wanting to make the short plane trips from island to island or from hotel to hotel. Everything was in one place and there was no need to ever unpack more than once. For those geographically challenged or just not wanting to exhaust yourself moving every couple of days from hotel to hotel, this ship is perfect. Just don't have exceptionally high expectations.

The shore excursions were all very good. We did not book a Pearl Harbor trip through Norwegian as we were staying in Honolulu for several days after. This is one excursion that I would highly recommend you book in advance either through the ship or an outside vendor. Luckily we did. Road to Hana, Sunrise and bike ride down, Zipline through Paradise and a catamaran/snorkel trip all booked through the Norwegian website were great.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Room served it's purpose. With this cruise you're not onboard very much, so the room was just fine.
