Adonia. June/July 17. Cruise no, D709P
Arrived at Southampton the Mayflower terminal about 12.30 and gave the keys to the parking lady, our cases being taken by the porter. We walked the few yards into the terminal and without any delay checked in and within minutes found ourselves walking towards the ship. The best and most fluid embarkation we have ever had. We were directed to the Lido deck, to the buffet to wait for the announcement that the cabins were ready, sat on the open rear deck in the sun with some lunch until the announcement was made.
Our cabin was on A deck, A70 slightly aft of the rear stairs, really pleased with the cabin, the position and certainly the size. Considering Adonia is a small ship the cabin was as roomy as anything we have had before (the actual shower tray being the smallest part, but functional)
Much bigger than I had expected. Ample storage room. Good balcony. Everything kept clean and tidy.
The shower room had enough room.
Shower itself quite small with a clingy curtain, but still fine
