This was one of the best cruises and vacations my husband and I have ever taken. The itinerary was superb. Every port was extremely interesting and filled with history. The ship - as usual Azamara was Amazing! It was extremely clean and super friendly. It as apparent the Captain Carl Smith has a fabulous staff and the staff love sailing with him. It was a happy ship - happy staff - happy guests! We dined in all three venues and all were excellent My favourite remains Aqualina which we ate in 4 times - it was spectacular from Maitre D' to waiters to setting to food. Thank you everyone! Prime C is also excellent, but not being a meat eater - it is less enticing for me - my husband loves it - best steak at sea - he said you can cut it with a fork! Entertainment was great and good variety - Russ is an absolute blast - always full of life and fun. Lots of great little touches throughout the journey. The Azamazing evening in Sorrento was good - only one hiccup on buses for return to the ship - took a while for them to arrive. The setting was magical - well done. Would also suggest more food variety at the venue There was music when we arrived, staff there to great us, shoe shine man, artists were painting and let you add a stroke or two, artists for charichatures, strolling musicians and more The White Night is always fun - great entertainment and then dancing to the songs of the Azamara singers and dancers When we arrived in Venice they had mimosa's, coffees, pastries and mini pizzas - a very thoughtful touch Shore excursions - all were excellent - all the guides were extremely knowledgeable - so much information and they made it fun and personal Always greeted by smiley faces when you arrive back at the ship with a cold drink and towel. Dimple the Security officer was such a joy! I would definitely recommend this itinerary and Azamara to anyone that wants an upscale luxury at reasonable price. There were a few children on this cruise. Azamara is not really a line for children - no kids activities on the ship - that is why we like it Love the ship decor and ease of getting around It has a reasonable gym - I would like a couple more pieces of equipment for legs Spa is beautiful - I had a mini sampler on one port day All port days have Spa offers so if you can take advantage of them a great value We had a suite and our butler was amazing - always bringing food and drinks! Anything we needed he was there for us Disembarkation in Venice was extremely well organized - so easy to find our luggage
