We have just returned home after 1 month on Navigator of the Seas, we have sailed on this ship many times before and as usual it was a great experience. The standards of cleanliness are second to none and the staff are hard working ,polite and extremely helpful, we were in a JS on deck 9 and our cabin steward was Richard Bryon, he kept our room spotless and well stocked with amenities and always had a smile and time to say hi! The food has improved since our last trip in May and we cannot fault the food anywhere on the ship. I have read some of the negative reviews relating to other people’s experiences on Navigator and I begin to wonder if they were on th same ship as me. If the food was so bad why do people pile their plates as if they are expecting a famine, I am sure they do not eat this way at home. The selection of food in the Windjammer was really very good throughout the day with speciality foods relating to ports of call. Speciality restaurants are excellent and also the Cafe Promenade have a great selection throughout the day too. We do not always use the Mdr as we prefer to choose when we wish to dine. There are passengers who dump glasses and plates etc in the corridors when it is so easy to leave them in the cabin or leave them somewhere safe. We enjoyed the shows even thought we had seen some of them before, the ice skating is very good and well worth a visit. Overall we loved it and also the opportunity to meet up with friends from previous cruises. Can’t wait for the next cruise.
