Food was much better than last year and the service has always been good. Room steward handled all my requests with a smile. Yes some things should be avoided, like the over cooked burgers and dogs in the buffet. But those are only there for the children. they were visible distressed and if you took one, well that's on you. as a bonus surprise, the Indian dishes were very good on the buffet.
As for Freeport, not much there and I wished I had stayed on the ship. However, we honeymooned there 30 years ago and wanted to see what was still there. As it turns out, not much. Might return in a pinch, but only if other short trips are booked up. Cococay is what it is supposed to be. An Island to do little to nothing on. Again the food was OK. Expectations should not be high for a buffet on an island. Drinks at the bar were good and the drink package I booked in advance was a decent value for us. It was nice to order a drink and not have to worry about the bill at the end of the cruise.
Decent bed, hot shower, fridge works and TV works. What else do I need? We don't spend a lot of time in the cabin. If my wife didn't insist on a window, I would have got an interior cabin and saved a few dollars.
