The Eurodam 10/10/09 - 10/17/09 Room 5164 Balcony

Arrived in FLL day before and stayed at the FLL Hyatt North. Great location, only minutes to the port and right next door to a shopping center! The Hyatt offered free shuttle service to the airport and ship port, however when we were ready to go at 10:30am, there were so many people waiting for the shuttle we took a taxi instead ($10.00) and worth not waiting (for me anyway). There was a line of ~80 people in front of us waiting to get into the terminal, however we didn't wait too long. Within 20 minutes we were getting our sea passes and were on board by 11:30am. Perfect timing!

We went straight to the Lido which had plenty of tables at that time. We had a tasty lunch and proceeded to the aft pool area. Hubby and I toured the ship and I made dinner reservations while we roamed about. (We opted for anytime dining, and you can book reservations for 2 nights in a row) I also went to the Pan-Asian restaurant and booked a lunch reservation for the next day at sea. At 1:00pm we were given the "ok" to go to our rooms. The room was a very good size. It had a nice sofa and table along side the bed. (Just like the Noordam, these beds are very comfortable) The balcony was adorned with 2 whicker chairs, an ottoman and a small table. The bathroom was a good size and unlike the other cruise lines there is a bathtub...no tiny shower, a normal size bathtub and shower!

I think more shelf space is needed for folded clothes.
