We were unfortunate to have our luggage lost by the airline for 6 days. We were the last to board and they had to wait for us(thank goodness we had paid transfers) otherwise they would have left without us. They were excellent at getting us at the airport and sending to ship via taxi while they did all the paperwork at the airport for our luggage. The cruise staff was outstanding and did everything they could possibly do to assist us. I just can't applaud them enough. Right from the very beginning to the end.The only clothes we had we the ones we had on. Our laundry was done nightly so we had clean for every day. The clothes options on board aren't the greatest and we did our best to try to find something to wear each day. Buying outside was a challenge also since all stores in Europe, it seems, are closed from1-4 PM. We tried to do our best to stay positive so we didn't miss out on this cruise. We did go on the wine and dine with Michael Bailey. It was VERY pricey. He is just a casual type of person and we really didn't realize that he was even on the excursions with us. Some people didn't even know what he looked like until we pointed him out. It would have been nice if he had made a toast or something at the wine tasting. And at lunch, he sat at one table. It would also have been nice if he had gone around to each table(around 7-8) and greet the people. We did pay a substantial amount for this experience and as I said, many people didn't even know he was there. Other than that, he was very approachable and friendly if you had the opportunity to do that.

Many good ports with lots to do. What we did was exceptional with the guides. Never can go wrong with ane excursion despite the costs. Food also good, but seems to have decreased in quality over the years. Service always top notch. Entertainment- we didn't have an opportunity to do too much as each evening we were dealing with trying to get clothes to wear for the following day and dealing with the luggage issue every single day at some time during the day or evening. Didn't want to miss the ice show-phenomenal. Did do the Mystery Dinner, not too good, and the food was limited menu at Giovanni's. Wouldn't really recommend it, just go to Giovanni's on your own and enjoy a full menu.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Clean, efficient. The first night, our bathroom flooded from a clogged shower drain. maintenance was quick at 10 PM and then housekeeping to clean after. We did have to have them come three times to fix sink drain, drained very slowly or not at all.

Port Reviews

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

Row Boat Ride not anything special, don't waste your money

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

President's Party. Wonderful entertainment and very well organized with moving 3000 people to and from the event.
