Majesty of the Seas Cruise Review by lechaix
- Sail Date: September 2017
- Destination: Bahamas
- Cabin Type: Ocean View Stateroom
Food was below expectations on 3 of the 4 nights. The salmon was excellent, the prime rib, lamb, strip steak were all very average or below average. Windjammer breakfast served biscuits and gravy and the two mornings I tried them the gravy was like a soup. very bland and watered down. Two mornings the bacon was way undercooked. There were only two juice choices, apple and orange juice, while other cruises we've been on have a variety of juices. No coffee available for the early risers until 7:00 in the Windjammer. Due to mechanical issues our itinerary was changed however that didn't pose a problem other than there was confusion as to what night formal night was at dinner. There was poor communication to the passengers on what night was formal night.
The main entertainer, an impressionist was great. Truly enjoyable performance. The other theater productions, (dancing and singing) were ok, not great and not bad. The casino was nice and a variety of sluts and tables for those that enjoy gambling.
And the overall cleanliness of the ship was very good.

Small cabin, but most cruises we have been on are small. Well maintained.
