Serenade of the Seas Cruise Review by Gluzcruise
- Sail Date: September 2017
- Destination: Canada & New England
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony
Spent the day before in Boston. Visited Quincy Market, Cheers and several other places near the harbor. Loved this area of North America. Great lobster rolls. Have always had a good experience with Royal Caribbean as far as dining, excursions, activities and entertainment. They had 3 comedians and all were very funny. Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. I would definitely like to see more of Bar Harbor, Kennebunkport and Halifax but would not want to sail on the Serenade until she has been refurbished. Excellent onboard service but this ship needs plenty of repairs. We had a loose door on one of our cabinets, The shower had hot water until the last two and a half days and there was a bad odor in the hallway near our room. Our stateroom attendant was great and did mention to maintenance about our water situation and we did get hot water back for one evening and then it became lukewarm at best. Overall it was still a good experience!
