Although this was my first ever cruise, I used to work on a six star cruise ship so I know what to expect. The ships Is beautiful, very clean and well laid out.

I think the outside decks could have better seating with tables for drinking/eating on nice a evenings as sunbeds are not great if you just want a nice drink and chat. Could also do with a few small extra special touches, perhaps a popcorn machine for some shows in the theatre and films on the outside screen. Also the outside area could perhaps use more events such as live music in the evenings I feel. Some of the bars could do with more seating in particular The Two Poets English pub which seemed to be the favourite bar on our cruise and very hard to get a seat here in the evening.

Overall though, I had a fantastic time cruising on The Navigator of the seas. A beautiful well laid out ship with outstanding service provided by a clearly committed crew. Great drinks, delicious food and lovely ports...I look forward to cruising again with Royal Caribbean hopefully soon again. I would definitely recommend.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Nice, clean, decent sized inside cabin with great Air-conditioning. Nice bathroom with good size corner shower and sliding doors...Flat screen TV (did not appear to be HD though), secure easy to use safe, plenty of cupboard space.

Fantastic, friendly cabin steward.

Port Reviews

Malaga

Great Beach 15 minutes walk from Ship docking area :)

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Took a taxi from ship to train station, train to Rome took about 50 minutes, cost about 10 euros I think. Colosseum about 30 minutes walk from Train station. Fantastic place, some areas a little run down, very busy of course.

Villefranche

Went to train station (15 minutes walk from tender drop). Train took approx 30 minutes to Monaco, train cost about 5 euros. Villafranche tiny but Beautiful with a small beach.
