Sail Date: Sep 2017

We purchased our trip in Fall 2016. My wife had double knee replacements and we were told we could get first class or business class seats on the flight over to Europe; we would pay the upgrade cost (fine with us!). We waited in July and had to call twice to get our flights. When we were finally able to get ahold of someone we were told that due to the “ CONTRACT” we were only permitted couch. We called the airlines to see if we could upgrade they referred us to Viking.

When we called Viking we were told (from an unsigned anonymous email that: "This is a limit within our CONTRACT and likely a detail that your initial sales representative was not privy to, for this we apologize.” And for this we filed a complaint with the FTC for false marketing.

We also wanted to go a day early so we could enjoy Bergen. Not possible (see the contract). So the two days we were told we would have in Bergen amounted to getting to the ship at 8 pm and we left at 6pm the next day (22 hours).

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

typical. We did not use the Veranda much due to the inclement weather
