We chose this cruise primarily for the destinations and we have cruised with RC twice before. I was a little wary because of some of the reports i had heard about this ship and we had previously been on Freedom and Anthem. YES this ship is smaller and is older !!! But it is lovely ! The ship will move on to pastures new at the end of next yaer as she has been sold by RC and there may be one or two things that could have been poished up a bit but overall we had an excellent week. The food was excellent in Chops and Giovannis and also the Main dining room. The cabin was fine and had loads of storage space. Getting on and off was a breeze! The smaller ship meant it was less crowded and no problem finding a sun bed at any time.Entertainment was very good, not always to my taste i admit but nevertheless really good. Patricio the cruise director was excellent and very personable when you met him around the ship. The ports were also great. We did all trips on our own and had no problems. If you go to Santorini make sure you go to Oea ( think thats the right spelling !) it is E1.60 on the public but which runs every 20 mins, it is breathtaking ! Be prepared to walk down the donkey track to get back to the ship though as the queue for the lift was horrendous ! It is also VERY expensive to eat and drink at any cafe with a view be warned !!

Thank you RC for another superb cruise, please folks do not be put off by negative comments on here, everyone is entitled to thier own opinion and mine is go with an open mind and you will chill out relax and enjoy your cruise expereince !

get the public bus to oea it is stunning ! only E1.60 each way and takes 20 mins

Katakolon (Olympia)

train to olympia takes 45 mins and is easy E20 return and it takes five mins to walk to the station from the ship. E12 to get in and you need approx two hours to wander around it is a great place to visit
