We chose this cruise because the ports were ones that we wanted to visit. The ship and the cabins were clean and tastefully decorated. We appreciated our ship steward Michael. We enjoyed the shows at The Stardust Theater. Also, we attended a few of the seminars that were offered and found them to be very informative. The staff was friendly and courteous. The Best of St. Johns excursion was exceptional. Our tour guide, Bonnie was a real delight and very knowledgeable. That was the only excursion that we booked as we found enough to do on our own at the other ports. Halifax was the only port that provided a local map, we would have appreciated a local map at each port of call. The food was generally good, but found that the food could have been hotter at the Garden Cafe. The embarkation and disembarkation went as smoothly as one can expect. Overall we were pleased with our cruise and would choose NCL again.

Cabin Review

Cabin Fwd port

Our cabin was clean and neat.

Port Reviews

Halifax

There was plenty to do within waking distance of the port. However, it is an all uphill hike to the Citadel.

Portland (Maine)

Again, there was plenty to do within walking distance of the port.
