We chose this 14 night cruise for the ports of call and it was when we boarded that we realised how happy we were to return to RCI. Everything was enjoyable and the quality of service met our expectations. The staff were happy and seemed to enjoy their jobs.
Although there are some negatives below, our enjoyment wasn't spoiled.
I hate the upsell on cruises and this one was no exception but we have developed a way of avoiding the traps so we kept within our budget. And no we didn't buy a drinks package.
The Cruise Director was popular although I wondered if it was right to link everything back to this one person because the team work very hard. The evening entertainment was very good.
One comment though is that we think that Internet should be free of charge, especially because the tv is always so rubbish and on sea days it can get a bit boring,
There didn't seem to be enough staff in the Windjammer, and it took ages to clear the tables when they were vacated.
Lastly, don't get caught out by the spa. Much pressure to buy things you don't need here, I had to tell one member of staff to back off because she was telling me how much she needed the money from the commission! And they do try to entice you in with a $50 spa voucher as a prize. Don't bother, You have to spend $100 to use it.
All in all we had a fabulous time and our experience helped us to get the best out of it.
Spacious and clean. Really comfortable bed.
