Cabin: Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

We have been on numerous NCL cruises but none for the past 7 years. We chose NCL because we wanted to go to the Baltic and they had the best schedule and rates. They did not disappoint with food, bars, shows, etc....The Shows were great. We ate at some of the specialty restaurants and they did not disappoint. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothy, Though they need more cabs at the Copenhagen disembarkation. We were lucky and knew someone who got us off quickly to catch an early flight. Ports were awesome even though St. Petersburg is a PITA to get through, nothing that NCL can do about that. Our Cabin Steward, Alicia was wonderful and got us everything we needed and then some! The only thing I will say they should not say the dock in Stockholm, but rather the port they went into so that one can make arrangements to get to Stockholm. Other than that, We will go on NCL again as long as they go where we are headed!

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin M6

Cabin was great we were upgraded from a Balcony to a mini suite. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us. While we were hardly ever in the cabin, it was nice to have the balcony when we were there. Also great being on the 8th deck. We got our exercise in using the stairs most of the time. Our cabin steward, Alicia, was awesome. While we hardly every saw her, she made sure we had everything we needed.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We stayed a few days in Copenhagen prior to getting on the ship and loved it. We did walking tours from Rick Steves' book The people were friendly and helpful.

Berlin

We did a private tour with TJ Travel. Our driver, Freddy, was awesome and our tour guide, Mirko was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. High recommend.

Tallinn

Beautiful! Close to the port. Easy walking tour on our own.

St. Petersburg

Private 2 day tour with TJ Travel. We packed a lot in, in a short period of time. St. Petersburg is rich with history and our guides Eugene and Lana, were very knowledgeable. Our driver, Nikolai, made sure we were timely. Loved this port

Helsinki

We did this on our own with guide books and maps and managed to hit all of the highlights and some local restaurants. - Make sure you stay out of the bike lanes in all of these ports :)

Stockholm

You do not dock in Stockholm, but another port about 45 minutes away. We weren't too happy about that but took the hop-on-hop-off bus and all worked out. Stockholm is easy to get around, but since it is a short stay we were rushing around to get everything in.
