We went on this cruise with 24 others to celebrate our friends 50th birthday. The ship itself was very nice. The staff was great, the staterooms were very nice and the shows were very good. As far as the food, the breakfast menu was very good. Lots of selections. The lunch menu was nice as well but our problem was the dinner menu. The 3 included restaurants had the same menu and there was not a very good selection at all. We have only been on 2 cruises in the past but the food on those ships was gourmet. I think Norwegian is lacking here. As far as the ports, Honduras was a small tourist shopping village but at least you could get a cab and see the area. Pretty good port actually . Cozumel is like my second home as we are there twice a year and this is an excellent port as you can truly see a part of Mexico. The port at Costa Maya was a joke. Nothing but shops set up to take tourist dollars. Nothing to see but trinkets and the thousands of people from 2 other cruise ships cramming into this little place. Just as bad was Harvest Cay, Belize. This port is a little resort and nothing more. Swimming pool, beach. restaurant. and more shops. Sure there were excursions, but they were snorkeling, zip-lines , or ride through the mangroves and look at monkeys. I will someday travel to Belize to actually SEE BELIZE, not a bunch of trinkets.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

we rented a cab for 5 hours and took our friend on an island tour. We showed her all the highlights as we know this island well. We vacation her twice a year and this is a very nice port

Roatan

Small tourist village but there were things to do and you could rent a cab and do some sight seeing
