Celebrity Cruise ship was highly recommended by our travel agent and we are so glad we took the advice. From the minute we stepped on board to experience our first ever cruise we had nothing but amazing service, food and entertainment to enjoy. We booked a balcony room because that is how we really wanted to experience Alaska. The room was mid ship to help alleviate sea sickness which was an issue for half a day when we were in open water. We never saw an unhappy face on any staff member on the ship which really made our vacation a great experience. There are no words to express how amazing all our dining experiences were from breakfast delivered to our room, eating in the dining room or the cafeteria to lunch and dinner. We never felt the need to eat at one of the added restaurant options you had to pay for. Entertainment was 5 Star every night and we never missed a show. We enjoyed the shopping on board, the amazing massage at the spa, the cafe for a slice of cheesecake and coffee, High Tea served everyday between 3-4 and all the endless options to keep you entertained on board the ship. Ports along the way are geared for cruise ships and lots of shopping so to really experience Alaska we choice excursions that took you away from the port. We did not book our excursions through Celebrity which saved us some money and there were no issues with not making it back to the ship on time as these companies are all working with incoming ships and their departure times. To sum up our experience I would not hesitate to recommend Celebrity for seeing Alaska!
