Overall rating of the Cruise was a 4.5 out of 5.

Embarkation: It was a beautiful morning as we came to port in the Hotel shuttle. Traffic was terrible at the port for some reason the semi-trucks delivering to the ship were stacked up and made quite a traffic jam. Took over 20 minutes longer than it has the other 4 times at this port. It is my opinion check in at Long Beach for the diamond and platinum cruisers is one of the easiest of all the ports we have embarked from. After boarding the ship our room 6216 was ready, our Stewards name was Sakti and his teammate was Samsul. First impression was good he explained that he services rooms either morning, night or both. We let him know our room is not going to be a mess but we do like it tidied up in the morning and again a turndown in the evening. We know we are asking for more than expected. If we are satisfied we make sure we add to the gratuity and make note of Stewards name on the Carnival survey. Sakti didn’t quite measure up to what we expected to receive to be over and above compensation. Housekeeping Manager needs to work on few things, overall the linen is starting to show wear, the door hinges to the closets need to be repaired, curtain would not close all the way due to damage. This is not major but just a little work is needed.
