I've been on the Infinity a couple of times and also on other cruise lines, but this ship was new to me. Loved the food and service on this ship. Celebrity service is so warm and friendly, it's excellent. The food was plentiful and amazing. I loved the steaks served in the dinning room even though they weren't thick they were perfectly cooked and tender. Also the minute steaks served in the buffet, wonderfully tender and an amazing flavor and I'm not usually a "beef" person, I was craving them!! Also ate my way through a 'million' desserts!! What a display of desserts in the buffet area. Buffet was spread out at different stations, sometimes duplicates, like the salad stations and there was lots of space between the stations and it didn't feel congested, always someone asking if you needed help!

Didn't find some of the passengers on board all that friendly, some were and some weren't. I always find saying hi to people while on a holiday is fun. We didn't opt to take their beverage package and purchased our drinks when we wanted them. At times you could hardly get near a bar, bartenders worked incredibly hard, sometime I thought there should be more of them on duty. I was a bit of a 'booze cruise' as a result of the included beverage packages. There was Music entertainment and singing etc. all evening in the small center in the middle of the atrium, creating noise and excitement going up the 10 story atrium to the many bars overlooking that area. Not much else to do on the ship, they didn't seem to use the Sky lounge as a night club type of venue, that was disappointing. We did not enjoy the on board dancers and singers they were also disappointing. Music and costumes weren't impressive and when they were singing as a group, you couldn't make out what they were saying, the sound system seemed to be overwhelmed. There was a 'Beatles' band, A hard Day's Night, and they were fabulous!! The guest speaker who gave talks on Bears, Eagles and Whales etc. was amazing too! On board shopping is high end, they opened a Tiffany's while we were there. Not much to purchase other than jewelry and expensive purses. We weren't interested in the Casino but it looked good.

The ship was clean and maintained well. The atrium was a surprise it looked like an office tower had been stuffed inside the ship. More utilitarian than glamorous.... Interesting! Modern/office decor style of decor. It was a very enjoyable cruise and we really liked out ocean view cabin.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 8

Cabin 08

Our cabin was right beside the guest services area, where all the music and singing happened especially in the evening. Our cabin was QUIET!! great sound proofing, and they also closed the hallway door in the evening. Not problems with this one!
