When they said this was a luxury cruise, they weren't kidding. This cruise was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Our suite was exceptional with plenty of room, a real-live walk-in closet, spacious bathroom and beautiful balcony. In a New York hotel you could only dream of getting a room this large and well-equipped. It didn't hurt that we were greeted with a nice, cold bottle of champagne.

The room was only topped by the service. The staff in the bars and restaurants delivered top flight service that also had a fun, personal touch. The maitre'd Lorenzo along with the waiters Thomas and Mauricio took great care of us.

We were blown away by the cabin. The walk in closet was amazing. Plenty of room, comfortable seating area with a love seat and a very spacious bathroom.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

We stayed two days in Barcelona before the cruise and toured around the town. Very pretty city with very good food. In my opinion, two days was enough to see the city.

Palamos

Took an excellent bus tour through several small medieval towns. The tour guide did a great job and it was a very enjoyable day.

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

I'm a big Formula 1 fan, so I was really excited about this stop. My only regret was not taking a tour. Monaco is small, but it's surprisingly difficult to get around. There are elevators and escalators hidden around town that are vital, but also hard to find. Also, skip the casino.

Corsica (Ajaccio)

This was a very charming port. Lots of history, very easy to navigate and filled with great restaurants.

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

At this port we went to the train station and visited a couple of the Cinque Terre cities. The train is very easy to use. Bring your patience because Italian trains can be a little trying. The towns were lovely, but very crowded. Definitely worth the visit.
