We were just looking for a restful cruise from Southampton in September and this fitted the bill. We had done all of the ports on past cruises.

Booking using their web site was a complete nightmare. Eventually had to call their office in Surrey and get one of their agents to do everything for me. The list of things that went wrong are to numerous to mention here.

The cabin on deck 7 was as good as other ships of this size and the attendant was efficient if a little withdrawn. The ship was smart and up to expectations as far as decor and facilities were concerned.

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

I used the small mini busses outside port gate. Local knowledge, can get up narrow roads and considerably cheaper than ship tours

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

Did not go to Pisa of Florence as have done it to death in past. Took a leisurely stroll round town. Very Nice.

Genoa

One of the unsung heroes of Italy. Spent some time here in the past so did our own thing.

Malaga

Took a local taxi up the hill and walked back through the town. Small town but nice gentle stroll downhill for coffee and buns before boarding ship.

Lisbon

Been here before so did our own thing again. Walked into town. Hop on Hop Off bus queue a bit long so did not bother as we had also done that previously.
