We completed our 25th Princess cruise on this trip and are still loyal to Princess. Actually, we did three back to back cruises with this trip being the third. Yes, agree that the ship needs some updating, the beds replaced, linens updated, and some of the furniture around the ship. We understand the ship is going in for a number of these updates in a few months.

The service on the ship throughout our five plus weeks was consistently good from the cabin steward to staff in al the dining areas. Not sure why a previous review noted an unfriendly staff because we were always greeted with a smile.

The food in the buffet was standard fare, a nice mixture of choices every day. The dinning room staff attentive and not one time did we receive a cold meal. Sometimes it's what you order that makes an unhappy meal and not the food itself. As with any dining experience. We dined in both specialty restaurants, both were excellent and a good value.
