A friend suggested this cruise. We got to see a lot of countries in a short amount of time which was fun and exhausting at the same time. This was our first trip to Europe so it was all very exciting. We booked a 2 day tour in Russia with TJ tour company which was excellent. Our tour guide, Nina, was very informative. We took this trip in September so the weather was cooler and it did rain a lot but we were still able to see everything we wanted to. I recommend bringing an unbrella or rain gear. Except for Germany,There were hop on, hop off buses at every port which was a nice way to see the areas. In Germany we could just walk to the town of Warnemunde and then took a train to Rostock which I recommend doing.
The ship itself was nice but very crowded and noisy. The venues were really too small for the amount of people on board (4000 people) so for that reason I would not go on this ship again. The entertainment was very good and the specialty dining was excellent but the regular restaurants were average. The outside things were fun-pool, hot tubs, climbing wall, water slides and gang plank challenge was really good. So if you don't mind a lot of noise and people, this was a good cruise.
Our room and balcony were very nice and always cleaned promptly. The shower was roomy compared to other ships we've been on which was really nice. Our bed was ok but not as comfortable as we've experienced on other ships. All and all, it was good.
We booked a private 2day tour with TJ tour company which was excellent. Our tour guide Nina was so informative and we saw a lot of places. They provided us with lunch each day and rain gear because it was raining a lot. We went on a van which was very comfortable for our group of 9 people.
We book d a privat tour. It was fine but the Hop on, Hop off bus would have been just as good if not better.
