Sail Date: Sep 2017
Cabin: Balcony

We chose this cruise firstly for the itinerary and the fact that there was only one sea day.

We had sailed NCL some time ago doing the Inside Passage trip to Alaska, other than that most of our cruises have been with Celebrity. We found the ship to be well organised, after the usual lines for embarkation, always found them to be a necessary evil! The ship was very clean and, after you got used to the slightly unusual organisation on some of the decks, easy to negotiate. We had a balcony cabin on deck 10 and found it to be a decent size with adequate storage. We ate in the Market Cafe for breakfast and lunch and the Main Dining Room for dinner. We found the food to be good. We didn't feel the need to use the additional charge places. The Market Cafe could be a bit chaotic at times, but nothing to be concerned about. We didn't book dinner at night, but found getting a table relatively easy, particularly if you were happy to share a table, which we were, and met many nice new friends this way. The wait staff were great, even remembering what you preferred to drink.

We had a drinks package, and found it easy to get whatever we wanted when we wanted. No sign of the difficulty being served in the bars we had read about in some of the previous reviews.

Cabin BB

Cabin was a good size and our Cabin Steward Jeanric kept it clean and tidy for us. He was an exceptionally nice young man, and seemed to anticipate our every need. I think he will go far with his lovely personality. One of the best Stewards we have ever had! The towel animals were great, especially the hanging monkey! Balcony quite small, but room for two chairs and a small table, all that was needed.
