We have always loved RC and decided to try their largest ship ....having last cruised with them in March we were really looking forward to it but hadn't expected such drastic changes in such a short time. It didn't start of well and through no fault of RC our 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise was cut to 4 days due to hurricane Irma and was changed to western Caribbean with just 1 stop at Cozumel but we were doing back to back cruises so that meant a repeat week 2 . This was acceptable but when we finally got onboard our junior suite was far from ready missing bathrobe, toiletries, towels and a dirty bath/shower and filthy kettle! These were put right but what a downmarket change only 3 starters and 3 main courses but extra if you wanted steak or lobster etc...of course there are lots of (pay for) specialty restaurants! Speciality coffee in a 'sort of' diner' now served in cardboard mugs, very thin and useless paper towels in public toilets ( where have warm fluffy towels gone), and no chocolates on your pillow at night! But by far the worst is there is only one lounge 'Dazzles' with a sea view and EVERY DAY it was closed for a private function .....that of course means more money for RC and the film crew must have paid bid bucks too cos the card room/library was closed for the 2 weeks as were various parts of the public spaces when they were filming but of course we only paid for a cruise ...we would have been better treated on a cargo ship
