Son and I chose this cruise because of the itinerary, departure port and the fact that we had not sailed on the Sunshine before. We were very disappointed in the ship layout and the lack of public space. Navigating the Sunshine was difficult because you couldn't get from "point A to Point B' with a "straight shot." One had to go down, walk a abit, then go up, walk a bit and then go back down. I think the addition of the extra cabins on the Sunshine was the cause. The decor was beautiful and the crew were wonderful. Most of the Shore excursions were very good, but we were disappointed in the offers in Halifax. Neither the Maritime Museum nor the Titanic Cemetary were offered in conjunction with one another. Only Peggy's Cove and the Cemetary were offered and the reviews of that tour were such that we would not take it.
I doubt we would take the Sunshine again.
Cabin was small compared to other Carnival ships. Bathroom was very nice.
