Carnival did a great job of replacing our ports that had been damaged by hurricanes. We felt safe and enjoyed great weather and peaceful sailing. This was our 54th cruise and we rated it in the top five. The ship has been recently updated and was clean and well maintained. Our cabin steward, Carol, was pleasant and always willing to chat and go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. My only concern with dining occurred in the Steak House. I asked our server about the difference between the smaller lobster tails we had had in the regular dining room and the larger lobster tail she had on display along with all the meat options for dinner. I pointed to the large lobster tail and requested it for my meal. Imagine my surprise when I was served two smaller tails. I felt like a bait and switch, pun intended. The next table over sent their silverware back twice. I expect much more when paying the extra money for dinner. I was also disappointed that the Seafood Shack did not have raw oysters even though they were on the menu.

The performers were wonderful. We enjoyed every show we attended. Jogi was a great maître d and looked after us every night. Dustin was full of energy as our cruise director. Charlotte was wonderful in the comedy club.

We will be back in three weeks and look forward to repeating everything except for the steakhouse.
