We chose the 2 week cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam on Amawaterways due to the reviews and they had the best options of tours for us. What we didn't know was how wonderful the service would be, The staff knew our names and preferences by the 3rd day and we felt pampered the whole time. There were no issues, everything went extremely smoothly. All of the guided tours were on time, with excellent guides. I learned so much history and understood the culture of each country better because of the guides.

The food was really very good and there was a lot of variety for each meal. The on board entertainment was good quality and there was a nice variety, from Rock and Roll to folk dance and even a beautiful classical male quartet.

When we booked the cruise, the tour I was least interested in, was to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Cabinet Museum but it was one of the best and most interesting tours we took. I loved the tours of The Residenz, and Melk Abbey.

Cabin Review

Stateroom with French balcony

Cabin C

Our Cabin was the mid price cabin with no balcony but the French doors. It was roomy enough and the bed was comfortable. The cleaning crew were there cleaning, 2-3 times a day. They were very respectful and kind. The bathroom was actually luxurious for a small space. We always had hot water and it had a rain head and hand held shower handle!
