Sail Date: Sep 2017
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

My husband and I booked this cruise nearly a year ago. We were very happy with the interaction between the staff and crew and made to feel most welcome. The MDR staff was wonderful and most accommodating to everyone at our table. They also provided a lot of fun during our meals. Our cabin was roomier than we expected. We had the same category as the last time we sailed (D1), but this location was far superior and the room was larger. We were at the rear of the ship. This size ship is not our favorite, but the itinerary was the one we wanted. We prefer the Radiance-size ships as we are not huge fans of the Promenade. We ate both breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer. Yes, occasionally it was crowded but we never waited long to find a place to sit. We were happy with the food offerings there. Occasionally we would go there in the evening for dessert and were impressed with what they were serving for dinner. I am unable to rave about the nightly entertainment. One of the comedians, in particular, hailed from Great Britain and we could not understand a single word he said. It seemed, too, judging by those around us, he told many inside jokes and we missed them all. It was difficult, if not impossible, to leave because as others left the theater, he would embarrass them. The ice show was great. We booked all of our shore excursions with companies other than using the ship's choices and were extremely happy with our decisions. The excursions could not have been better and we learned so much about each place. The Guest Relations staff was also terrific. We used the gym on all sea days and found it to be adequate for our needs.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

The cabin was very roomy. We had plenty of storage and a fabulous balcony.
