We have sailed with Princess several times and have always enjoyed our on board experience. Our cabin was clean, but furnishings were tired, as was a lot of areas of the ship. There was flaking paint on the balcony.
Dining was hit and miss, the buffet Horizons restaurant was one of the better choices. We found the food in our assigned dining room was often too salty. The specialty restaurants were both good. Had quite a lot of difficulty dealing with the dining room reservations staff, misunderstandings and miscommunication. We eventually had to ask passenger services to assist us, which they did booking us in the Bayou restaurant, when we arrived our booking was not there..we were asked several times did we book ? were we sure it wasn't at the other restaurant, very annoying, especially since the restaurant was only 1/2 full.
Staff in the staterooms and most dining areas were all very pleasant and helpful.
Cabin was neat and tidy, but furnishings were tired. Being aft there was quite a bit of vibration at times, causing the lamps especially to rattle. Bathroom clean & good size.
Not keen on only a curtain separating the bedroom and sitting area. Balcony furnishings showing their age.
Cabin steward was very pleasant.
