We chose this cruise as we had not visited the Azores, we have been on the Navigator before so we knew what to expect, however we found some changes that we approved of.
Firstly, when we entered our stateroom I thought that we had been given a larger one than on previous Royal Caribbean cruises, then my wife pointed out that there wasn't a coffee table, which made late night toilet trips a lot safer.
Secondly in the Saffire dining room a basket of bread rolls is now placed on your table after you are seated, A small thing but appreciated.
A nice spacious stateroom kept very clean by Ceatano, towel animals most nights, would recommend to anyone.
Another place that we have visited before, wandered around the city centre and had a very pleasant coffee and custard tart.
When leaving the port the blue line splits, follow the one that goes left to miss the steps.
We went to the Botanical gardens on the cable car a tad expensive at €61.00 for the two of us, but worth it.
We have visited Vigo a few times, but have never gone far from the port, this time we visited the Citadel, a lot of steps, but well worth the effort.
