Liked the itinerary. Wanted to try a Viking Ocean cruise. Enjoyed the dining experiences most, but were surprised at how much we enjoyed the variety of music during cocktail hour and after dinner. The ABBA tribute was great. Cabin was first-rate and the service was constant and appreciated. We paid special notice to the staff on our on-board ratings. All were superb. Some shore excursions were either too rudimentary (the included ones) or in some cases too expensive for value received.

all said, we signed up for a cruise in 2019 and hope to return to spend time in some of the ports of call we experienced. We would also like to return to the river cruises especially the one in Portugal, and we are toying with taking one of the repositioning cruises to have more time at sea. If the Caribbean to Barcelona cruise would stop at the Azores and Lisbon on the way into the Med it would be a great addition.

Mimi bar should have choice of liquor. There was really nothing we wanted among the restricted selections. We had the Silver Spirits package and were disappointed.
