RCL has good reputation, have used before, and a group was going. The food in the main dining room was very good. The entertainment in the main theater was kind a hit or miss, Aa couple of shows were very good and have several shows lacked spark of high entertainment value. They were nearly always vacant Seats at the 8:30 show. The cabin Stewart was very attentive to my special-needs as a handicap Trevor. The dining room staff was very professional. Sitting on the promenade watching people was very enjoyable. The cruise again on September 14, 2017. There are no Royal Caribbean wheelchair accessible excursions on this cruise. Our ports of call were in Astoria Oregon, San Francisco, and Victoria British Columbia. The entertainment in the piano bar and on the royal promenade was very good. This is an actual time of year to cruise the Northwest Pacific coast. I will not try to carry my own luggage off in the future as the staging area was very overcrowded with little space for all the people and their luggage.
The drop off the room to balcony was too high for my electric chair and numerous attempts to the crew did not resolve the issue. "Safety reasons" would not allow any temporary transition board or ramp. A manual chair could do it fine with manual assistance. Nice room though. Not balcony barrier is steel, not glass as in newer ships.
