This was our first cruise in 30 yrs. We live 40 minutes from Boston, so it was very convenient. Originally, we purchased a picture window cabin on deck 5. We received an email to bid on an upgrade. A week before the cruise, my husband put a bid in for a balcony & a mini suite ($130 per person). We received a call 2 days before our trip, they didn't have anymore balcony or mini suites, but did have a family suite! So we jumped on it. We moved to the 12th deck with floor to ceiling windows, king size bed, huge double sink bathroom, for just an extra $230! It was amazing! Embarkation & disembarkation were a breeze. The ship was clean and updated. We dined at Cagneys (our favorite) unbelievable steak, Los Lobos, great Mexican food, & LaCucina , wonderful Italian food. The wait staff were terrific, very attentive and made sure everything was cooked the way we wanted it. The waiter, Sivakuma, at LaCucina, made suggestions and brought us appetizers that he thought we would like and he was right on the mark. Delicious! The Venetian was good too. The only restaurant that didn't impress us, was Bamboo. They took our order and we never heard from them afterwards. The food wasn't that great either. The entertainment was great, from the dancers, singers and illusionist. Never a bad seat in the house. You could never be bored, between the shows, games & music, there was something for everyone. The Cruise Director Richard was so energetic, upbeat and did a remarkable job. I don't think he ever slept! Throughout the ship at certain times you could stop and hear singers &pianist, very entertaining. The staff were amazing. Our Cabin steward Arnold, made sure we had clean towels (twice a day) and his towel animals were awesome. Our Butler , Rey , brought us snacks every afternoon, and made sure we had everything we needed. Bermuda was beautiful, we went to Horseshoe Bay the first day, we went by minibus ($7 per person one way) it was great. NCL has a complimentary ferry to St George, we used the second day. Overall that trip was amazing, the only thing I didn't like was the pool, rather small and people would be up at the crack of dawn to camp all day on one of the couches. But there was so much to do on the ship, that didn't effect us. I would definitely go on this ship again. I was a little concerned at first, because of Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean, but it was pretty much smooth sailing, a few rolls here and there, but nothing to be concerned with. Thank you NCL for a memorable trip, you get an A+ in my book!

Cabin SJ

The cabin was amazing it slept 6 people, with king size bed, couch, murphy bed, dining table and 2 chairs. There was a walk-in closet and the bathroom had double sinks, a separate bathtub and a Shower stall. The bed was very comfortable and the view every morning was perfect!
