Picked Norwegian because of their rating on cruise critic. Norwegian proved to be an excellent choice. The staff on the ship was courteous, pleasant and helpful. Never had to ask a second time for any of the staff to help with anything. My wife eats a very strict diet and they catered to all of her dietary necessities. The ship was clean and well managed throughout the entire voyage. Ship was as clean when we returned to port as it was when we disembarked. The entertainment was excellent. The food on the ship was very good and the specialty restaurants were excellent. Cagney's steak house was as good as any Ruth Chris I have eaten at. Great way to get away and enjoy time with your wife or significant other. I loved our time whale watching and at the Glacier. Have recommended the cruise to my brother and I love him so I am not steering you wrong when I say that Norwegian provided my wife and I with a memorable vacation. My wife liked it better than I did and she would have gushed more if she had written this review. Since this was my first cruise I am not sure I am a future cruiser even though I had a good time, at times felt confined on the ship. Norwegian's product was excellent, I have no direct complaints, just don't know if I like cruising. Their free style where you can just show up for dinner and don't have to get over dressed was a blessing to me on vacation. Took the cruise to relax, not to stress out getting my suit on and off each evening.

Again I can't say enough about the staff and their care and concern, could not have felt more pampered.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

As large and a comfortable as most hotel rooms at a major chain. Plenty of room to move around and full size bathroom. The beds were just OK, and could have been better, but were comfortable. The balcony was the bomb, got to see the glacier from our balcony and also saw a couple of whales breach while on our cruise. While in the inland passage able to look at the gorgeous Alaskan and Canadian islands.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Have been to Seattle many times and love the city's cuisine and Pike's Market.

Victoria

Have been to Victoria before and it is a nice town, but again nothing special. Nice little tourist town with bars, restaurants and trinket shops.
