We wanted to go to Alaska to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Embarkation was fine and we enjoyed the Garden Cafe before sailing. Our cabin was nice, our first balcony!
The layout of the ship was a little different compared to our last cruise, especially the Buffet.
It was quite crowded being narrow and along one side of the ship and people having to walk through to get either end of the ship. Other lines have their buffet across the entire ship. The Great outdoors seating area was great and I think that the ship was designed with warmer climes with this feature in mind. Then the buffet wouldn't be too much of an issue, but in Alaska......
Very Clean and our Steward, Abell, kept us entertained with the towel creatures.
The balcony door whistled one day from the wind pretty badly.
We just did our own walking tour of Ketchikan. We saw Creek street and the Totem Pole Museum and did a bunch of shopping afterwards.
