First time on Azamara, drawn by the itinerary but pleasantly surprised by the intimacy achieved on the smaller vessels. Got to know fellow passengers, both on and off the ship, as everywhere we went on-shore we bumped into people we knew! Most derived from Cruise Critic trips, it must be said. That way we arranged two lengthy trips off the ship at far better rates, covering more sights than offered by the company.

Reports of cramped showers are overstated and had no problems at all with hot/cold flows which has happened on some previous ships and the beds! - well, arguably the most comfortable yet. State room attendants were there at the drop of a hat and the morning 'cup of tea' room service was used every day. Nothing beats a fit young man bearing a tray of tea first thing in the morning!

Dining was as hoped for and up to the best standards although the wines could have been better. All in all, an excellent trip.

Club Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Cabin VX

As stated, cabin was cozy as has to be expected in a smaller ship. Was surprised to find she was commissioned in 2000 - had thought earlier from the decor - but delightful nonetheless.
