Sail Date: Sep 2017

We picked up a very good deal as a "grab one" deal just 3 weeks before we set sail.

We flew into Brisbane, transferred to the Port and had a very easy embarkation. (Great Start!

Never having cruised before we were not quite sure what we were getting ourselves into and I must admit to some trepidation - namely that it would be a little like a floating retirement village.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside

As mentioned - perfectly acceptable - compact but with plenty of storage for two.

Fabulous crew - Rothy and Andrew who kept it extremely tidy. Well located.

Port Reviews

Noumea

We wandered down to the Marina through a rather grotty part of town and then back to port to look through marketplace. The bar and cafe at marina was pleasant - but the walk there was not.

Lifou

Enjoyed this stop. Walked up to small chapel and the views were jaw dropping. Spent the afternoon on the beachfront and it was very relaxing. The tender ride to and fro was easy - the queue to get on to it was a little painful but worth the effort.

Brisbane

Arrived back to disembark in Brisbane and spent day there before flying home to Auckland.
